Stories about writing books, code, and symphonies. (Sometimes all three at once.)
In my project, im trying (with this code from Tanner Helland) to obtain a specificic range of colors). I ask so, its possible to get this scale of gray ( also denominated as Charcoal Effect)?
I await for some tips in the code….
Hi Antonio. Photoshop’s “Charcoal Effect” uses a standard grayscale conversion. The “charcoal” part involves a mix of linear blur and pixel-smudging code to generate that “hand-drawn” look, so it requires a completely different approach than this article describes.
Thanks Tanner. Anyway, if you have something approached, please send me, indeed needing some changes…
